Building the Future by Conserving the Past

An Introduction To Us...

Booth’s stonemasonry and masonry conservation is at its heart an architectural conservation business. The company's founder and manager Paul Booth is a 34 years’ experience’ time served architectural stone mason however it is Paul's love of history and old buildings and structures that has led him on his career path with his main focus being the upkeep and conservation of our built heritage and the craft skills that enable us to be able to do this.

The business offices and workshops are located within the Aubourn Estate in Lincolnshire. Aubourn Hall and Estate have been in the Neville family for over 500 years, it was originally a traditional and family farm. It is a very special place with over 2,500 acres of farmland and woodland with an impressive 17th century manor house at its centre.

Paul and his small core team of craft people have the capability to look after and conserve and sometimes replace all of the fabric materials found on our old buildings and structures Pauls own specialism is stone and structural masonry, however Booths work with brick timber glass, lead and other more rare materials always taking the care and time to ensure that what they are providing is the absolute best for the future of the particular building and or structure, that they have been currently tasked with working on.

Paul and his team are privileged to be constantly working with highly skilled engineers and architects and conservation specialists the relationships that's Paul and his team have built with other conservation professionals are long standing and this says a lot about the ethos and approach that Booths Stonemasonry and Masonry Conservation have.
